Goose Steps

the march of time
           in goose step rhyme
                 hup two three four

                                war war war war.

Twisted minds
             like lemon rinds
                        bitter pill
                                kill kill kill.

The pain is real
             in bullets feel
                         the rip and tear
                                what do you care?

Keep the rhythm
             stroke the gun
                         wave your flag
                                at everyone.

The march of time
             in goose step rhyme
                         feeds the war
                                and pockets more.

And they all went marching down

to the woods...to get out...of the rain

to applaud and enjoy...the economics game

boom
boom
boom

War does not bring peace or freedom.
But maybe we just have to kill one other until everyone is dead before we find that out?

How appropriate immediately after
the Auschwitz commemorations

peace pipes and doves, flowers and rainbows
hugging, kissing, smiling, laughing, playing,
singing....
these are the things sweet dreams are made of, the things that celebrate love, freedom, peace, LIFE

yes, John,
and are herby posted, in part, because these are some of the things my Auschwitz survivor friend wants the world to remember and focus on....
that it never happens again
but to move forward, into the march for peace and love, caring and giving, for the sake of LIFE itself

And no doubt
evenwhen the great dying comes
there will still be time
for some
to war and to profiteer

Goose-stepping

something I find myself having to do alot, as I have family in service and as you know, I disagreed with the reasonings of this war.

I pray they all come home soon.

I know you share that prayer with me, too.

sigh, I'm not asleep. Rumor has it I don't do that much.
