a game
or another chance
for much needed
love and romance

two souls searching
in the darkness of night
for that chance
that feels so right

how could it
be wrong
souls searching
so long

for the light
that they once held
oh so tight

now nights
filled with desire
leaving the days
with a burning fire

was it just
a cruel game
faces never
the same

yet the feelings

and the passion
grew with each
encounter
erasing the pain
all about her

memories
that could bring
you to your knees
touches
that oh so
pleases

whispers
in the night
a game of chance
for souls reuniting
passions dance

Yes Marsha, indeed it sometimes feels like it's just a game of chance. Very well presented thought and images.

thankyou. ive been at a blank. someone stole all my writings. originals, prints, everything. so i sort of died inside, couldnt write anything, but life goes on, as it is, thankyou for your kind reply

thankyou dave that means alot to me. ive had my writings taken before but only a few. never all. i was putting together a book. now i'll just have to put together a better one
