Between the Lines

0 posted 2005-01-31 07:17 AM

There are those moments
when the tender is felt
such a fine line in appearance
but deep grooves in reality.

Truth harder to say
easier to show, a penalty
in challenge to connect...
banishment on the edge
of missing you.

Upgrading my mind
trading fear of
to lift me to a plane of you
in those final moments that
repeated and repeated
and repeated because
time ends too soon.

Crowded inside, thoughts
squeeze those tears
needing out, uniting
as they cascade,
coming to a trickle only after.

The whys don't matter
as much as the when and where.
A journey ...
to be continued...

May your journey continue in a harmonious and joyful fashion. A soul as beautiful as yours, deserves to be happy.

I am with Dixie on this one...it touched something in me.

Missing is such a hard emotion with so many degrees and angles and colors.  But I suppose for me, I am glad for missing because it means that at one time, it was.
