Summer to Winter to Summer

Life can seem a depressing time
The rain is in
Life now moves to the relationships you couldn’t handle in the summer
How do you handle them in the winter
Some times you choose to get together
But only after a long period of trying to live together
Now life forces us all to have to live with someone or something
It might be loneliness or a ring
In the quick break from the summer
It is easy to run
From those who bloom in the summer
We have those winter plants
Who don’t move much
But lay down those deep roots
When the winter calls
Who would choose
Those who can charm you through the summer
Or those who can get you through the winter

Or vice versa
