I plead with you to stay
As my heart breaks in two
I cannot come to terms with
The fact that we are through

I once penned you words of love
My heart was seen in every line
I thought our love was sacred
That it would stand the test of time

Did you ever really love me
Or was your love just surreal
You so easily had me fooled
Betrayed is how I feel

Now I pick up all the pieces
Of my heart from the floor
As I watch you pack your things
And head towards the door

Many questions remain unanswered
As you leave without a word
While I sit here in my silence
My heart remains unheard

Is something gone that wouldn't work worse than staying to make what has moved, what was.

Some things happen and you stay together, others are for a short-time and a learning or thinking process and the feeling that it wont work.

Everyone has their thoughts and desires and pre-plan of what should be but meshing together two strangers and we all are in every step of a relationship strangers as we explore and learn, to do something when they feel it wrong, is wrong.

We split and re-group and that is a learning process but a lady of your talent has a gift and that is a true gift.
