wanting to touch your tools
with my craftsman thoughts
of building music
in muffie's tree house

you said I had to wait
or I would get you on me
and ruin my white shirt
so I took it off
and stood in the shower
without an umbrella

I played in your paint bucket
when you weren't looking
and knocked it over
accidently on purpose
you pouted at my laughing
then laughed when you smeared me

and wrote i love you on my whispers

made new
with tender touch

and anticipation
of trading spaces.
