October sails off in a flourish of whimsical dreams; the simmering sky ready to hang prophecies upon her open branches, and beneath it all christened in autumn colored confetti, the dreaming girl in harlequin tiarra, crowns herself leaf goddess, trying to sew wings from the discarded, that lay withered in the fallout. |
