Distant light i see you, shining across the lake. Your eyes like moonbeams, alert me to your presence. Moonlight ripples lines, the forest grey/white with growing flecks of snow, becoming indestinctly smeared. Running excitedly to greet you, my heart hotly pounds with longing lonliness, to feel you near. Solitary i have travelled to this moment. Now here you are at last, to see your warm breath in the cold winter air moves me to cry out, we howl our hearts return. |
