Validity

I search the shadows of my mind
To reach and touch serenity
Yet know that I am senses blind
To reach the true reality

The shadows greet me every night
And play upon my interject
They stay behind my every light
And dance upon my introspect

It is a weary game I play
And time has slowed the shadows dance
The way has turned from pink to gray
And languid is the walk of chance

The candles that I burn each year
Turned from red to yellow pale
They sputter in the wind of fear
I see no shadows pail of bale

I may lose my way of see
But shadows there will ever be

For you, Sy, I would make the shadows
warm and comfortable, that you would
always know you can find your way...
and that if you needed an extra bit of
light, that we would all be there for you...

as always.

The shadows soft in your fine mind
Are languid thoughts of passing time
But candles pink lit every year
Make each passing day far more dear.

Heck I get lost between the bed and the shower each morning without my roadmap coffee so I figure you are doing pretty good.  Always enjoy and this one gives validity to why you are held in such high asteem.
