Sigh of the Wind

It passes me but does not stay
The wind that passes every day
Each one a whirlwind of a sigh
That rises up the dust of die

It spreads across the land like bees
Collecting nectar making keys
Making change within the change
That seems to me so very strange

An enzyme in this world of grime
Building on the bones of time
Seeking for a mortars glue
To put into this cooking stew

Tasting of the simmering pot
Adding spices of begot
Twisting, learning, yearning more
Driving to the very core

And in the core would be the prime
The essence of the birth of time

Sometimes the wind does sigh..
and other times a mighty roar.
This is an excellent piece of writting Sy!

Sy, I think I'm smiling just as much at you,
as I am at the ladies who have left their
own personal touches upon the wind...

Well done, m'friend...

I could say nothing better than what has already
been blown away...

more like SY of the Wind...

When you tap rhymes from these keys ...
wisdom's wind is heard upon your breeze.

*ww*

Among the kingdom of the winds ...
perhaps there is one of elegant mind,
who has no need to intrude on the solitude of single things.

Seymour, I love the soft sigh of the wind...
a soft, gentle breeze.......
it's the ones that come with the hurricanes
and tornadoes that I don't like.
I love your poem, too.
Hugs,
Ethel

I see a vision of a wave of wind first gentle ripples but gathering strength and tumbling over each other as they move forward...What a wonderful vision of wonder you presented me with your words...thank you...

Gee Sy,

A mighty wind did I feel,
Ducking it, I had to kneel,
In its whistle, wisdom cold,
Stung by your Thursday words so bold!

I will put away those petty things,
Releasing pain, cold or hot brings.
Yes, winds of time are shivering cold,
But warm is your wisdom as I grow old!
