He sings the songs that poets do and "rags on", picks upons. Wearing out the toes in socks, the openings of longjohns. Shares the sunshine of the state with many of you here. Loves hitting balls into those holes, to watch them disappear. Controls the pests attacking blue and others in the real. But keep him from an outside grill, for he'll explode heat's feel. Too much I watched him on that day of lighter fluids touch. I could not eat my food from there, its taste was "fluid much". Although I never told him so, and listened while he spoke. In rhythms rhyme in story fold, brought tears in us, awoke. The heart of heart he lends to all, endearing tales that lift. A master I would call him as he shares with us his gift. I cannot do him justice, though I try to learn his style. He moderates, a gentle man, good looking, too, in smile. He banters with the best of them, is teased beyond the norm. But no one does it better when he's in poetic form. And so I bow to him, the King whose stanzas could be sung. Who quips and jousts so carefully in wordspeak form of tongue. M *I hope he takes this as a compliment* "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." I think if we found him near an outside grill, more'n likely he'd be barbecueing SPAM. It's an honor to read an honor to him, mo. |

How could 'Deer take it any other way? You captured him [so eloquently] and a 'Deer is not easily caught... This "mask" is a fine, beautiful tribute to the troubadour of Passions...you did him proud, Maureen... very, very proud! |

To read such words of praise come from another poet's pen Would surely bring a small tear to the mightiest of men. To read them from a poet I admire as much as you Has brought a sense of pride for having done the things I do. I'm just a guy who uses words to spin the tales I tell. I'm blessed to know someone like you thinks that I do it well. I thank you, dear Maureen, for all the compliments you said I haven't smiled so much since when I fell through that darned bed!!!!! (private joke, folks ) Thank you, Maureen, and everyone who commented....peace to you all |

You did great on this one, my friend. I knew this was Balladeer, when I read it. He is the greatest, isn't he? |
