Memories


Often times long solo trips
Lend plenty of time to ponder on things
With no one to share your thoughts with
Your mind wonders from thought to thought
Things you've done
Mishaps that happen in between
Places you've be to
People you've met along the way
But the memories I pondered on the most
Were the ones that come with a "First"
The first time I saw snow
The first time I drove a car
The first award I got
The first major screw-up I made
And out of all my "First Time" things
My favorite will always be
The First time I went to The Circus
