Standing In Silence...

0 posted 2005-01-05 05:37 PM

My thoughts escape me,
Addicted to bleeding for you.
In love with the pain,
I can’t see past it.
It’s your sweet torment
That keeps me coming back
Back for more…and more…
Our whole world was false,
Leaving us with shattered hearts.

You were the flame,
That set me on fire,
The one that didn’t leave,
The one that gave me happiness,
The one that gave me…a reason to live.

The promises that were made,
And were so easily broken,
Keep coming back to haunt me,
To keep me shaking in the night,
To hide my cries from watchful eyes,
And kept me drowning in my pain.
The shadows welcomed me,
With open arms,
And they never….never…
Left me lonely.

You were the poison,
That crept into my mind,
The one that killed me from the inside,
The one that destroyed my soul,
The one that made me run away…
And turned my heart to stone.

Ah hon, it might have brought you down but me knowing you the way that I do?
Your to darn strong to let it destroy you, your to beautiful, and
your just way to damn smart gal.
Now that you have seen some darkness
your light will shine brighter than ever.

Very well done Stac...and I MEAN that...
and gads, I see alot of me in you...even when I was at your age....
wonder why?  lol....

Thank you both, very much, I'm glad you liked this, I'm pretty happy with the way this one turned out too.
