As asters fade in autumn’s frost And leaves come tumbling down, The land grows gray with lengthening shadows ~ Awaiting its pristine, snow-white gown. I have a weather forecast for ya....low 80's, high 70's ALL week. grass is still green, though only cut once every two weeks now...the birds are acting normal...my back yard is NOT filled with leaves yet, there is still shade from the trees....the squirrels have not filled their little cheeks with about a buhzillion acorns yet.... and you say goodbye to Fall? Nahuh, not just yet.....Or did you forget to tell me you live somewhere UP there??? |

Nancy ~ I'll take your word for it. I have been working in my office in the basement of my home the entire day ~ and it is very cool down here! I had so much puter work to do and I cloistered myself away. I guess it put me in the mood for this sort of chilly write! lol I'm in no hurry for winter's arrival ~ but I will enjoy it once it arrives! Enjoy the rest of your autumn! Linda |

Magnus ~ Yes, I do live UP here! But according to our enchanting friend Nancy, it was gorgeously warm and sunny up here as well! But as I mentioned to her I've been in my basement office all day computerizing. Aw, but tomorrow is another day! Enjoy your autumn ~ and don't fall! lol Linda |

Wah, Wah, Wah - I no want winter and you can't make me!  Oh yeah, all that beautiful white stuff and the magic and the glitter and all that winter wonderland perfection - but darn it - why can't we have all that beauty and 80 degrees at the same time??? Huh? Huh? Jeeez teasin' - sorta. Enjoyed this Linda - Hugs - Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |
