Upon the Edge I fair upon the edge of this Of peppers sting and honey’s bliss The force of each has caught my sail And I am bracing on impale The sky is fair a crystal blue The mornings due is crystal new The North Star has caught my bow And I am racing in the now. The brine has coated me with white The burn and sweet has caught me tight And I am pickled in the hold Eating into every fold I cannot live in ones domain Even though I sport a cane I try to mix an even goal To eat of each a proper bowl And in this vagrancy of flight I try my best to do what’s right |
