One More for the Road(tata 2004) beyond the patio’s edge stands an invitation to take a load off, rest your weary bones warm the cockles of your heart upon a soft cushion of leftover snow well maybe not depends on the temperature of your cockles at present I’m hoping you are not among those that would find such as a warming comfort, rather that you know greater warmth, by far, greater invitation, than sitting neath invisible stars resting upon lingering, crisp, winter beauty no matter the softness of its cushion or the purity of its color ©December 31, 2004 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |
