Seen that face before it turned into a dream snatched from distant memories unravelled at the seams Never knew from first we met what beautiful looks you kept Yet when you gave to me a photograph shyly nervous overlooked your body for the eyes staring back at me but looks never mattered just the thought of you and I Then I’d turn to think of others together for the wrong reasons in old age they’d be no looks to love they’d know that the word means more than just a mating call |

Lee, this is beautiful, and a for me... Karilea - if I whisper, will you listen? Keeping in mind, I must stand close...and keep my promises... |

Lee, you may not post as often as I would like, but when you do, it is always worth the read ~ as was this touching poem. May the coming new year be a joyous one for you and your loved ones, Love & Light, Linda |

yes...it is not the looks that keeps the love in hold...it is the heart. (or should be) very nice M |

you know the secret. some are so caught up in looks and age they will never be happy...their own mirror so tainted.. Very well done!! "cast me gently into the morning, for the night has been unkind" |
