Come-Hither, Take This Love I Give

Hold me love in a close embrace,
Paint us in this visual space,
Where orchids thrive beneath teal skies,
And time has never known good-byes.

Comfort me, as I lie sleeping,
Lull the fears that I am weeping,
Murmur sweet nothings in my ear,
And gild the darkness less severe.

O’ sing for me a song of hope,
Seduce me down the gentle slope,
Pilfer my breath with but a kiss,
Tell me naught is as dear as this.

Love me wholly within your eyes,
Sweep your laughter across the skies,
Take away the uncertain course—
—The path that leads one to remorse.

Come-hither, take this love I give,
And loneliness we shall outlive.

Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history!
