I found a piece of myself laying around, under a rock against the hard cold ground It was a piece of my heart scattered that day, fallen apart when you chose your own way I felt at peace without you no one to fight, until nearby an incredible sight I found just a piece of you laying around, under a rock against the hard cold ground It was a piece of your heart you left that day, a piece of art our love made it that way I found a piece of myself still loving you, with an idea of what I need to do I am at peace with my heart now that I knew, the hard cold ground is where I will find you "In life's giving ... love is a gift, such worth living." |

KC - thank you for the read. There is a bit of me knotted up in this piece .... a time long ago. I catch myself star searching late at night wondering if you maybe are doing the same! It was a piece of your heart you left that day, a piece of art our love made it that way I found a piece of myself still loving you, with an idea of what I need to do Craig, even though this has a sad feel to it, I love it. I really felt what you were saying. You know, I think every relationship takes a little piece of the heart. It usually takes a new love to help that piece grow back. I hope that you find yours.
