Yellow

Sip the first taste of spring
From the sweet of yellow butter cup
Laugh beneath daisy bright light
Shining from yellow petals pretty
Bathe in happy face yellow
Twirling carefree in yellow checked dress
Beneath the yellow bravado
Spilled form the sun
Smiling in delight
As the yellow haired princess
Dances alongside thee
With yellow ribbons dangling
And birds sing a yellow feel melody
On a lemonade fine day
