of every single drop.

I join their song

and I transform

into the dancing rain.

Come, kiss my smile!

The thought of you

brings you near ...

and now we are here,

two drops of love

clinging to each other,

to be wholly part

of life’s infinite harmony.

"Come kiss my smile"...lovely.

I know you aren't old enough to remember..
but I saw the title and it immediately brought to mind an old song..
some of the words are..
"The very thought of you, and I forget to do,
the simple ordinary things that everyone ought to do"

This is SO lovely!

Dear Nancy, well I guess I am old enough LOL, but still I don't remember the song, but its words are so true!!! The distracting force of being in love!

This, btw, is my 5000th post. Wow, Margherita! I know in comparison to you and to many others this is not so much, but it is a joy to be here on Pip and to share my poems and to enjoy all the beautiful poets!

Margherita ~ It is difficult to believe that English is not your first language! You put many of us where English is our mother tongue, to shame with your eloquence!
