Listening to every heart

Careworn

Oceanic sounds come to me,
but only as a digital skip
along with white gulls, though
I can imagine again
turning around
to feel grains against my soles

                                                          worncare

and, in swift blink Aliced, those blues come breaking through
in grayshell sky giving milieu to
tingefoamed lace of crashing salt

was it only fingertips ago
I touched that air
or was it touching me, worn as it was,
by a million mornings of
sun breaking fog fingers,
someone counting gulls
let alone their many feathers…

bereft of words, now wearing only
sensations, realizing some searches
require the taking place of

more.

Words sought me today
like some shells reach for pockets
and love, that lingers long
for human touch

but I am worn,
with care

almost,              weary…
like a sax putting night to bed.

Karilea - if I whisper, will you listen?  Keeping in mind, I must stand close...and keep my promises...

Oh this does speak to me....I know the care, the wear, the feeling that I'll turn to stone if something doesn't give....it reminds me of one I wrote a short time ago that feels like years and years now.... I'm going to bring it back, for you.

I know this feeling, love the way you said it!

"in swift blink Aliced, those blues come breaking through

Wish this countryboy had rit that...

And Lawd what and ending...

"almost,              weary…
like a sax putting night to bed."

But one thing more...

"and, in swift blink Aliced, those blues come breaking through"

Is this the "Alice" that cannot see the beach because "there's no place like (this around her) home" (in Kansas?)

I think you have touched what a lot of us have done.

I have always had the feeling I should be there and the sea should be my mistress.

Thank you, everyone...

and Ford? As for Alice?  Think rabbit holes, and you'll fall right through the mirror.

saxy stuff ms sunshine

that stretch of beach
looks like some
I have ridden beside
wondering what she was thinking

as she surged her ends
high on the tide side
almost touching my spokes

enjoyed this

This gives me shivers... knowing this ... but ignorant of how you could write it so perfectly. *S*
