Away from me whale grief Rising eyes These visions divide this stolen heart Dark face where they lie Beneath the grunts and siphoning groans Countless is the rape Please stop visions throw away knife Sharp razor blade slicing arms, my lungs where they breathe The womb it is fresh----strewn ebony seeds Rounding soft, RIP—as they pluck them dry Please stop disease electric squall Rhythm black bile That eats wish-song-fruit The dance is thunder against our Mother, thundering my mind, thundering where they die Please stop nightmare Give them rescue visions Make them cry, make them pray For black face women and their wish for dreams… |

This deserves a bump, and rightfully so - what a strong message. If I were to touch you, would you bleed a velvet river, running miracles through the sodden ground? --Moi |

Hello A Tone of Voice. This is a very powerful piece of writing. It reminds me a lot of someone else's style. That is to say it is wonderful and I love it. I hope to see more such pieces in the future. Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history! |

passing shadows----thank you from the bottom of my heart, that was the intent for writing the piece. Evocative2---your words touched me, thank you very much! I attempted to feel the anquish, then let the words flow..... |
