How Christmas Used To Be The sights I remember Many, many years ago Of stars twinkling bright Ground white with snow How I miss that scene At this time of the year I think back of long ago Yes I always shed a tear As summer days go by Christmas days I recall The scenic winter nights The snowflakes would fall A snowy white Christmas I have not seen for years So every year at this time I always shed a few tears It is summer in Australia A time I miss my family Thoughts took me back How Christmas used to be Hope ©2004 |

Memories are something very special to draw upon, and just as lovely as your poem. Merry Christmas, Hope~ |
