Spent all those years on that degree many a head then filled with fleas never a fair chance to put in practice lays a defective point in cube lattice. Herein lies bitterness of academic pursuit how then would other degrees follow suit as diplomas gets piled high and deeper reader of fahrenheit admired the sweeper. Admired the cleaner for his constant sweep spent so many years behind book stacked deep part of spectacle anthem unsung part of laced web incompletely spun All those years for that degree all those years for indebted fees spent x number of years on one degree followed by another had he felt free... Would that we could make better choices without benefit of a crystal ball and live lives in capacities better suited to living and not suffocating. Enjoyed Martin. (I'd prefer to come back a bird but would be pleased to be a farmer in a quiet valley canning for the winter) |
