Looking out of Windows Sunbeams window peep falling Through Venetian blinds Zebra striped On Berber patterns of outside reckonings Whilst fireplace watching spellbound holds me Gazing flame to smoke drafting wishes Burning reality on second hand ticking Even as the clock scolds me squirrel-like Chattering wall-perched as I hoard away Buried nut memories from Autumn. You created a picture in words I like it although it hinted of nowhere to go and nothing to do Dave |

Nice painting of winter in words, and a nice place to stay inside, and reflect in. |
