Down deep, the gulp of endless fathom Remnants hidden searching outcome Each grain suspends of trepid waters Laid to rest her convent quarters Let to rest and out of sight, lip tight Shy the touch of tender probe Discovered ‘neath a sapphire robe She waits By loop the knots and to degree Absorbing tears so tenderly And tenderly to come the sea Down deep, and still her remedy He glistens, in reluctant dives More capable to reach he strives To take her hand as time arrives She waits So curious by natures wager Turn to stone the tears that cage her But his resolve may now dissolve The torrent cut of passions razor Down deep, where weary sleep A lullaby to cry an ocean’s motion In caveat, tides healing potion She Copyright Kkh 11/07/04 |
