Listening to every heart

I don't just think of you
on your day but know
I think of you every
day and wonder
how you are
and if you
have a
star

overhead

as
I have
yet to hear
the worst of my
thoughts come true
even while I worry so
about you…so you must
have a guardian angel of
sorts, you think? I do, I
so often think of you
and fret too, for
lack of you, as
mothers do
even when
we know
we are
right

even dread

I
love you
on this your
day, 6th of Dec.
St. Catherines' Day
for whom you were
not named but similar
just the same in sound
and half of me prays
you will see this in
cyber knowing
ways and say
hey, Mom
thought
of me
this
day

as
I did
the day
your were
born…so my
sweet first one
be safe, be
well, and
please
be as
OK
as

I would wish
on this
your
day
