Burnt orange magenta sky
Scraped with grey clouds
Wind whispering through branches
She stands listening
Frightened of the darkening light
Loud noises behind bushes
She braces holding her breath
Parting leaves
An angel moves from hidden spaces
Black wings contrasting coloured fading sky
She looks up scared into the angels eyes
Searching for an answer to her fear
The angel stands silently shedding a tear
Crimson red blood runs slowly down his cheek
Rain begins to fall sparsley
The mist moistening her face
Still beneath looking upward memories lost
She feels a warmness engulfing her body
Angel closed wings around her
Her weary head to his strong brown chest
She feels happiness overcome her
Her mind fills with memories past
She begins to smile, no longer in fear
Then darkeness as the angel disapears
Eyes open they see nothing
Night has grown blackened
She struggles as light shines on her forehead
From window gape
Awake
