The Question Was Why Silent week after week How long would it last Heart aching obviously Left feeling downcast In going the extra miles In expressing concern Silence is hard to bear As time and tides turn I had awaited your reply As days come and go Am I wasting my words A heart needs to know Mystery of your silence As each day goes by Being left without a clue The question was why Hope©2004 |
