Why I ask, does the lord unceasingly takes whatever delight of which a heart does make? Thereupon the evils of sorrow he gladly sends to render poor souls in depression to the end It is only but a shadow’s dreadful eye to see of apparent lament and misfortune comes to thee Thus live upon a life in constant flows of suffering Alas! to this a belief that I; born the undeserving. |
