Love Spy Don't ask me why she was a love spy. I only know she was, I never knew why. She made her living by flirting, in short skirts and midnight flirts. She was trained behind an iron curtain, to be a master of spies, always searching, wanting to know who, where when and why. She wore her heart on her sleeve, being a model of perfection, if only she would come around, if only I could lead her heart in the right direction. I knew her call to fame was gained through flirting and kissing, I knew, but she knew not I knew, that she was on a love mission. Thats why she found herself in my arms, playing around and kissing, and thats when I knew she was the woman I had been missing. In the morning it would all be over, at sunrise the love spy would die at my hand or come over. I will not lie, I din't want to kill the love spy, my hope was she would come over to our side. We kissed, I held her tight in my arms all night, whispering sweet words in her ear, words of endearment, words I hoped her heart wanted to hear. In the morning she was still alive, oh yes, she would still remain a spy, but from that night forward she would be working for our side. JamesLee November29 2004 |
