Romance on the sea hoof Delicately angular poised as a dolphin circling a shark head butting sense you felt was essential You moved light to drift in shadows of non-colour in case you awoke a sleeper to see phantoms dreamed of You pirouetted blazing silver to a Lone Ranger your foot upon his ear listening for a stage in his life Delicately holding visions secure in your vision you moved on transparent echoes vibrating capture to trap a rat to become a mouse to become an ape to become images in water of crystal clearness Magic in a dream dancing in mist wavering in flight to seek wings to glide to a sacred shore gilded in a sun soaked blue sea You built a boat using everything to sail without Just two hulls either side to dance with the sharks in memory of the dolphins and your feeling of memory Of a sleek body moving you to float to safety in a dream of thought |
