No Matter an Age

Do you see me for who I am
even in the darkness
where I secret
those feelings that you
rise in me whenever alone?

Connections exist,
some common, others special.
Those that surprise
leave me with hope
and play upon my inner strength.

Too serious of late, the real
editing my life, giving me satisfaction
through trial and error, even if
it is slow to evolve.
So what is next?

Too many questions, so much to observe.
The holding of hands, always there.
The touching of heart, just a browse away...
And my mind "running free".
