I dare not even blink for fear you'll leave, and, plunge me into silence as before. What matter all these things, should I believe, your thoughts are closed to me for-evermore. So hollow are the hours you're away where once had means to bid the clock adieu. So easy came the proper words to say they vanished, in thin air, along with you. So, should this be condition of reprieve I hope these words will echo true and fair, Your gift returned most humbly to recieve, I ask once more again that we might share, A word or two on anything at all, I listen, and, await your future calls. |

it seems so true among love's many parts that silence kills the hopes of hearful hearts |

this tugged at the heart strings Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |

Krawdad, Well phrased, thanks. While the emotion I put in to this was more directed towards the ethereal than the material, perhaps everyone saw somthing more than I did. Doc passing shadows, Thanks, no need for the sad face. While this piece may read to be sad, it's actually a celebration , of sorts. In the last month or so I've been completely frustrated at writing. This marks a return of what used to come so easily. Doc Martie, Thanks. I believe it already may have. What I was trying to convey here was the sense of abandonment I'd been feeling at not being able to write a darn thing of late. After many failed tries it actually became the inspiration I needed to write this piece, which is one of the few that I've ever written without any re-writes or editing. You might say I found my voice again. Doc Susan, Thank you. Quite simply, the pen turned it's back on me, I was lost for a time. We made up, all is well. Doc Ali4000, Thanks, sad, yes, but only for a time. That time is over. serenity, Well, it kind of felt like prison, so yeah. A little begging and pleading with the muses, and the occasinal apology, seems to have sprung the cage. See ya around Warden, I got's places to go. Doc |
