Picture by Alan Ayers * * * All I have are my words So genuine and sincere 'tho I feel you in my heart How I wish that you were here Time may be the greatest healer But it cannot mend my heart As I express my deep emotions Through these words I now impart I never said how much I loved you In the end, so little time As I attempt to show my feelings Through these humble words of rhyme Dad, I hope that you can read them And that my love travels far As I look high up towards heaven For I'm sure that's where you are I am in motion |
