Behold, what vision this that greets my eyes? Upon blue screen, in pixelled glory there? She is I think, as splendored as night skies Aglow with stars, a glorious beauty rare, How can this be, such pulchritude my view, Before me sits, no touch of her I feel, No scent of her my senses to imbue With essence of her soul, is she not real? If not, how can I ache her presence deep How can she cause emotions dead to stir? As from a trance, she calls from cyber's keep' From in my heart, why do I call to her? Alas, she is but a phantom calling, From out my past, a dream recalling. T'was surfing and came across a 55 Chevy Belaire, unfortunately the asking price was about a hundred times what I paid for mine shortly after my sixteenth birthday. Grinning at this - ah classic cars - mmmmm Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |

LOL...Tim, let me know when you're ready for the next car show - you can see my spouse's 49 Chevy Fleetline that he's quite proud of...and a few other hot and heavy's on display... as for the poem, well, it's getting easier and easier to see why you enjoy waxing poetic over the matters that stir a man's heart... |
