Storms here do not hide behind concrete or glass They roll long across prairie to show their heads As they stalk all who would be in the path Of quick flashed lightening that strikes forked tongued With a lash cracked whip of thunder behind And they laugh Deep bellowing grumbles as they fly across the sky On their way to someplace further east Where if the furies in them build they will drown fields With winds to make trees cry “no more” before the tumbled tear of root from soil and their own anguished crash muffled by the roar of such gods as these sudden summer storms would play at being yet I stand in open disregard for them as long as I can ignore the hair on my neck standing straight and the tingle that creeps through the air and cracks against the limbs to discharge suddenly blinding me But then It would seem we are all unable to see at times And my own lack of vision only leads me to stumble Along my mind as I watch And wait For you |

*laughing* And just what is it, may I ask, that you could learn from ME? (except maybe, to get yourself FLAT, when the hair on your head stands up before the thunderhead) You needn't admit it, but you CAN flat-out write. hack.....lmao |

LOL...this, I know... and Ed? Well, Sir, all I can say is that Ed knows what he's talking about, since you won't listen to anyone else. |

You take thought and images and turn them into words that we can picture vividly in our minds as they turn into the most beautiful journeys of your poetic abilities.... damn, I love the journey! |

And they laugh Deep bellowing grumbles as they fly across the sky oh boy, that sound is so intense, penetrating right through ya, love that sound, don't you? Pretty impressive write, very much enjoyed. |

smiling, I'd missed it too. And Ed's advice to Cap is priceless as well: (except maybe, to get yourself FLAT, when the hair on your head stands up before the thunderhead) *ahem* Could be one teensy little problem Ed... But then, methinks Ron knows just when to run for cover. And all kidding aside, I also bow to the poet king. |
