When we do not talk, we pretend we have something to say: Something urgent. We do something different, catching the remanence of words long dead. I study closely, the anatomy of your "love" and "never". Do you even remember me anymore? I swear I have forgotten, you are now not but half a face, partial skin, a now rough embrace. I drown smoothly in the echos, sharp edges of what was once comfort.. It is not startling to me when I stumble over "unrequited" and "alone". |

"It is not startling to me when I stumble over "unrequited" and "alone"." Ditto what Ron said... I always know I am going to be floored when I click on your name. "cast me gently into the morning, for the night has been unkind" |

Ouch! I sure felt the pain of that one, in once familiar time and place (got smart and ditched him.) Great write Meghan. |

I love the title of this piece. It really helps get the reader in the right frame of mind before diving in. It made the piece so much more intense. Your talent is something to be desired, but could only be delivered by your hand. Nice Job, Joshua |

You have a way of sneaking up on the reader. Like poetry in stocking feet. |
