Social stability lacking in a world of fallen concepts Ramblings of a mad man are claimed to be beautiful At a loss for the words Yet emotions worn on the outside Humans they are for such a short time On lookers stare with jaded eyes Enjoyment is the goal Forgetting the yesterday and the tomorrow All is too be had in the now The where no longer matters to these star gazers Each playing their part in this play No one knowing their lines Whether they should exit and enter they know not Their beings are the only thing they have Lives that paint the picture of artist dreams Their essence is cultivated into one word What this word is they will never know And their place they will never know Yet they are all players in this strange improv of sorts Their ramblings are captions we all quote Yet if you truly look they never existed Tomorrow comes for those who fear it. |

Very subtle, and hard hitting. I would like to think I was just not a player, but one that lived, as well. Food, words... for thought, from you. Thank you, poe. |
