Reaching out, a helping hand Out of nowhere, there she stands Reflection from the mirror We see our self Staring head on Truth comes about Life is funny So they say A new beginning A shadow in the breeze Move on now No one can say The puppet is our master For this day Tomorrow is here We hear our calling An undying wish The crash is falling Hope is cruel It hurt's us deep Master is calling It lets you sleep Possessed are we There is no excuse Help us now Relieve our sorrow Pitty for the weak Is cast upon us Cold hard truth Is here tomorrow |

I know it is, thank you. A broken heart helps you write. I hate knowing what I know, but hey, life goes on. |

Steve, the good side of the coin is that hearts do mend...just slowly sometimes. |

The cold hard truth is something to contend with, indeed. Then again, real friends are so far and few between. Enjoyed your poem, steve~ |
