I am jaded, yet still gullible I wonder if the world is ever fair I hear the whimper of a weak soul I see the devil's horns on a fallen angel I want to know what love is I am jaded, yet still gullible I pretend that I do not care I feel the warm tears on a cold heart I touch the wings of Cupid I worry that love has passed me by I cry at every heart-wrenching departure I am jaded, yet still gullible I understand "Survival of the Fittest" I say what goes around comes around I dream of falling asleep in protective arms I try to please everyone - silly me... I hope for everyone to experience love I am jaded, yet still gullible _,,,^.^,,,_ |
