Mark 1:16: Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. Cast your threads on the sea What wove brings a trove of martyrs Lovingly becomes fishers of men. With worn hems the can see The answer to years of staunch prayers Thread are words as they fish for him. Mark 1:45: But he went out, and began to publish it much, and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter. Three years they fished for men Across the dry landscape walking, Riches cast in new responsibility A realm of and defined by him That the people gathered to hear talking About the beyond their reality. Mark 6: 34: And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things. He made fishers into shepherds And clinking of coins had no sway When the taught as they were shown To carry on teaching his word About love in the coming day After he left them all alone. Mark 15:13: And they cried out again, Crucify him. Gloom |
