Weaving
In weaving fiction into truth I can’t believe it’s long of tooth The scale is weighted to the ground Nor can I stand its cry of sound.
We’re eating to oblivion Oblivious criterion And will not stay a point of fix Mankind weaves the strangest mix
And tears will not wash the sin The apple’s rotten in the bin The paradox has dragon’s breath Enough of it to cause our death
I sail upon a sea of tears The brine has caked my eyes the years The wishing well has long since dried And so my skin has ruffed to Hyde
The alternate my friend is love And from within and not above

Yes, mankind does weave the strangest mix. However, yours is a Trail Mix and full of surprises!
"The paradox has dragon’s breath Enough of it to cause our death"
~ I do not believe that Randy is going to appreciate those lines! Noosirreee!
"I sail upon a sea of tears The brine has caked my eyes the years The wishing well has long since dried And so my skin has ruffed to Hyde"
~ That passage darn near brought on my own briny tears!!!
"The alternate my friend is love And from within and not above"
~ Both kinds of love are important for my personal sense of well-being.
All in all, I'd say you did not dream sweetly last night.
Tonight is another night, and I'll be astrally dropping by with some magic tricks up the sleeves of my vestments. You will sleep well tonight, my Sweet Sonneteer from the South!
 EA

Sy, it does sound as though Randy ate something hot and spicy before bed last night. But, I have to agree self love comes first.. before we can love another. ~Morning hugs, tea, and I'll pour~~Somewhere in my heart I'm always Dancing with you in the summer rain ~

Song of Sy is quite low and keen ruffling feathers, and silken wings, for scenes that seem a simple dream I would, if I could, let him sing...

Super hugs...

Sy, is it true that practice makes perfect? Or might the master just be able to paint so easily that one might feel you write and write and write some more?
