It isn't that a verbal language is needed between one body and the next that breathes it isn't that one must speak to be heard when others don't listen through their ears, ideas can be expressed in a mire of thoughtless words or casual jests latent thoughts may spill from deeper wells followed by rivulets of tears or a silent scream you say, do I detect a cynical vein, where has all the good cheer and friendly chatter gone? some become quieter as time progresses an expression of wanting to say less so that thoughts can live without phrases where wordiness ebbs to the tranquility of deep sleep. © Copyright 2004 ecrivan [This message has been edited by wordwizard (07-29-2004 12:58 AM).] |

Very true....I agree that this can be the case, but sometimes, the need of the individual is to just get it out. Enjoyed. ....jo |

I wonder though if we get to a point where we just run out of things to say or maybe we've said them so much and it still doesn't do any good at all so we just don't waste our breath anymore *shrug* |

Verbal communication is not needed for those who communicate telepathically!  In other scenarios, if words fall on deaf ears, one does not feel the need to be wordy! Interesting write! Your ink made me think! Good to read your words! ~ Wish I could hear them!  EA |
