He Sails He sails upon this boundless sea To vision what his eyes can’t see, Breathe salt of possibility. No anchor cast, a spirit free. He fear not loss he feared before Of pain he knew, of pain he bore. He knows now God waits at the shore To touch his soul and change his core. He leaves his wake, the trail behind To gentle waves outside his mind. All universe responds in kind When love of self is what you find. With seaside close, within his scope, For anchor now he grasp and grope. But when he saw God’s golden rope. He ever held forever hope. |
