Still a presence even after statues fall piazza pigeons have lost where to roost weary souls wonder how other icons rise from the floor of native houses yet their officials are elected democratically. Still a presence on a shelf or wall a figure carved in gold leaf tradition ones placed where no idols were to follow yet weak souls need to see saintly contenances... Still a presence once living is cast in bronze to immortalize...what mass media would magnify enlarged out of perspective, on all continents yet galaxies are still eons away.... an icon today, forgotten fact tomorrow generated models collapse with fruitless sorrow then cyclically rise from pyre ashes, to colour this world with beliefs framed in settings of disbelief. wordwizard, great poem and interesting perspective; and most probably true, with a few, very few exceptions. .......jo |

Depth here...a poem well worth the reading, and this: then cyclically rise from pyre ashes to colour this world with beliefs framed in settings of disbelief. ....only thing I can say is it shines true and I wish I'd come up with the image. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |
