My Travail

I read the stars and suns avail
Yet feel the feeling of travail
Stand and eat or be the eaten
Either that or be a Cretin

It seems to be the way of go
Or should I say the way of flow
Events that change the changing grime
That forms the dust to new in time

This bit of dust that caught the stream
Seem the remnants of a dream and
I but smile this mot of wile
A guile that floats upon the Nile

Perhaps the wrappings are too tight
This binding of my mind in flight
This brew of will and times instill
That does not fill this grimes distill

It makes no difference what I would
I sailed the sea of what I could

For in the all that you have seen
you stood for good and for all dreams
You gave your mind, your lines and hours
So, we in turn, say, "Poet, ours"!

That closing couplet's wisdom and intend is cooler than cool...

as are these lines....

I do so love the way your poetic mind works...

youre certainly no "Cretin" ...
but then there is a certain dragon we all know and love... LOL

*ww*

I would love to live as a river flows, carried by the surprise of its own unfolding.

Gooood Morrrrning, T-Man!

I'll make like I'm Cleopatra and flow with your mots down the river of De Nial!

I always enjoy the offerings from your illustrious pen!
