I used to be a drama queen,
And stresses got me flustered.
I'd fret and stew, and spin my wheels,
And could not cut the mustard.

I'd often be a basket case,
~ Over-sensitive in many ways.
I'd worry over everything
~ Getting lost in the haze.

I could not see the forest,
For the proverbial trees.
I'd get lost in consternations,
And forever tried to please.

One day I simply had enough,
And asked the angels what to do.
They wrapped me in their loving Light,
Saying, "We'll take care of you".

"Worry" had been my middle name,
But I learned to Lighten up.
I no longer run on empty,
For I drink from Heaven's cup.
