Nakdthoughts: Yeah, you got me on that one, but the whole idea behind expectations is the surprise. Kinda like the cracker-jack surprise? Or as once espoused in a movie: “Life is like a box of chocolates.” But no expectations is like throwing away the box before you open it… No? Anyway, I always enjoy reading your poetry. A bit mysterious, a bit up-lifting, and always a surprise. JL She said: ”You look cute in the dark.” |
